Terms, Conditions, Cancellations & Changes

Before booking and attending any course at The DIY School you must read and agree to the following:-

A non refundable, cleared deposit of £50 is required to secure each place on each course, if the booking is not done via the DIY School website. For 1 day courses the full balance is required at the time of booking. Places are allocated on a first cleared funds basis.

The balance of course fees becomes payable, in full, with cleared funds i.e. cash or card, 14 days inclusive prior to the start of the course. If paying by cheque please allow sufficient time for it to clear. The DIY School is unable to refund any fees for cancellation or re-arrangements notified to us within the 14 days inclusive prior to the start of the course for any reason.

If you are unable to attend your course and notify us within the 14 days inclusive of the start date of the course we will not be able to offer any refund and full course fees will become payable. We will consider moving you on to another course as what we call "one extra!" This means that if your replacement course becomes fully booked with new customers you will be moved again on to the next available course until such time as you are able to complete the course without us having to turn away new customers. Only in the event that a cancelled place is re-sold and your course becomes fully booked will The DIY School refund fees less a £25 cancellation processing charge. An alternative person may be sent in order to avoid loss of fees.

Any multiple course discount can not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.

To claim a £50 contribution towards accommodation costs, if you live over 100 miles from our training centres, please ensure you bring along proof of address and details of your hotel booking. This discount can not be used in conjunction with any other offer or promotion.
