Bricklaying Course, Plastering Course & Tiling Course Student Jo makes the right steps toward DIY independence with Multicourses at The DIY School in Stockport

bricklaying course Jo's step finished for her parentsBricklaying Course for Garden Walls student Jo Flanagan, in August 2009, took an opportunity to evaluate what she wanted from life. Running her own Mortgage Advisory business during the credit crunch meant that Jo had time to take stock and find new paths to follow. Having always enjoyed the practical side of property ownership and with one eye towards the property market for signs of improvement Jo decided that she would like to be able to take on some rather more ambitious projects in her current home, some jobs at her Parent's house and in time, work on any future property investments.

Bricklaying, Tiling and Plastering. Jo decided on the Bricklaying Course for Garden Walls first. Her parents needed a step to be built from their patio windows into the Garden and rather than waste another brief English summer Jo wanted to get the step done to give them easier access to the Garden.

Whilst we wait for Jo's own words about what she thought of The DIY School have a look at the before and after pictures of the step that she built for her parents.

We are delighted that Jo has now booked on the Plastering Course from which we are confident that more great pictures will emerge and after that Jo will be coming on The DIY School Tiling Course.
